Most Painful Experience Of Fishing Career

For sure, i will never go into the water to land a fish unless the lure is debarbed or i have a grip. The pain. The Memory. This is the story...

Went fishing with momok and momok hooked on a good size baby toman on his lure. Went into the water all confident. Pull leader line and position my finger onto the fish eyes to do a quick landing. About to bring it in when the fish jumped and gave a super headshake. The lure came out of the throat and got stuck on my finger. A few more thrashing and the lure was deep into my finger.

Adrenaline pumped into my blood. The fish still trying to get free. It jump and struggle. Every struggle i can feel the hooks tearing at me. Immediatley went back to land and momok held the fish while another friend tried to get the hooks out of my fingers. The hooks tooo deep. Owner trebles. Fish still thrashing.

In the end, resort to cutting away the treble. The moment they treble cut away... I felt so relieved. At least no more jumping fish.

Look at my finger and said... Hong Gan already. The fish thrash until the hook went in until the other end came out. Tried to pull the hook here and there but the barb wouldnt budge. Ok so nevermind continue fishing.... After that...

Went CCK 24hrs clinic and they said maybe must go A and E but i insist don't want so they do surgery on the spot. They jab me 5 times(fucking pain) IN AREA WHERE THE WOUND is to numb the area then they start to slice my finger open to get the hook out. When they finally sliced enough, they forced the hook out. Then stich me up...

The cost for pain? $125

Pain!
