Asari Pink Tail
Hi guys, recently we found another sinking minnow for saltwater use called the Asari Pink Tail 38g. It is a cheeky name considering the idea came from the Jackson Pintail Tune. Both are sinking weighted minnows that work well in salwater environment. Cast the lure out and wait for it to sink before just reeling it in.
We got the Asari Pink Tail from tackle 2000 at a good price since the Jackson pintail tune is easily two times more expensive. But stocks are finishing fast so hurry up!!!
The interesting thing is that they sort of copy the Technic Prohunter minnow design but casting is ok and action has been tested to be good too. Hoping to use it this weekend at Desaru TU Lighthouse...

Foreword and Disclaimer My first encounter with prawning dated back to 2002. Back then, I hooked up my first prawn near the prawning ponds beside the Downtown East chalets at Pasir Ris. Name and Terminology Kurau is known as Indian Giant Threadfin salmon/Kurau/黑午鱼/Orh Ngor Senangin is known as Blue Threadfin salmon/Senangin/白午鱼/Pek Ngor/Ngor Soon Eating Quality Kurau is known the more premium species and is a popular fish for maternity purposes as it is believed to boost milk supply for new mothers. Hirasuzuki fishing experience in Jeju I've never thought I'd be fishing in Korea all my life. Seriously! So when the opportunity to do some fishing in Jeju popped up, I couldn't say no. It was a completely gut based decision based on the goal that was to eat the korean hirasuzuki also known as blackfin seabass. I heard that the fight of the fish wasn't that great but I was very curious about eating it! To make my fishing dream come true, I engaged Hyunwook, whom I think is the best fishing guide in Korea and didn't regret it one bit (read below).
