Fishing Ghost Story?

I was extremely tired after fishing on Friday so i woke up late on a Saturday noon. It was hot and funky today. I have never experienced great catches on hot days following a big downpour. I feel that the hot sun makes water condition worse. To backup my theory, i always experienced better catches when it was just cool rainy weather all the way.

Nevertheless, i grabbed my new rod and off i was to a spot near me... on my bicycle! It was tough work getting to the spot since i was cycling under the hot sun. When i reached the first water hole... I already decided that i would just start fishing here and ignore the other spots in which i had to bash deep in.

Reaching the spot...

This spot had been my favourite Haruan spot for a period of time because the Haruan there had been big and the bite rates were extremely consistent. It was as if they hadn't seen a lure before! Sadly, after a few trips the action died down mainly due to the netters spotting me getting the fishes and the Peacock Bass invading the area...

The whole area was cleared up and the surrounding trees/bushes were gone! There was only the huge tree that was left. It felt like a totally new spot to me so i thought i would try my luck here.
A place that was hard to access to the water was now totally open...

I tried topwater lures but there was not even a sniff at my lures. A few monitor lizards cruised around... that was a good sign sometimes as it meant that there were fish here.

The old tree which was still there...

It was all pretty foggy in my head but i remembered losing 5 lures on as many casts and i even went into the water which was surprising because the bottom was black mud... Something else happened as well and i shan't say what... Just that it was pretty freaky and i left that place immediately... I will definitely not be heading back to that place for a long long time...
