Red Snappers with Changi Ah Chong

Date: 23 May 2007
Boatman: Ah Chong

It was a pretty sunny start to the day with the morning sun glistening on the chestnut Changi waters. I asked Ah Chong where we were heading today and he told me today we go Guhood hunting! This made me pretty optimistic and we were soon on our way to the first spot!

All set and ready to go!

First up to land a fish was Necroplastic. A handsome Ang Kuey was brought up and the smile on his face was priceless. However it was also his last fish of the day. Mingjun was the next to land a fish! This time it was a bigger Ang Kuey! Necroplastic was stunned. We were stunned.

A handsome red snapper

Kakis were getting hookups now and we were in pretty good mood. I landed a Guhood not long after too! Then the rain came down crashing on us... And all went wrong. No fish was landed for a long time until the " Tui Chao " period where a few ACKs and Grouper was landed.

Overall pretty drab trip for me but seeing kakis land their prized fish makes my day too!

If i'm not wrong the Ang Kueys are 1.3kg and 1.5kg...

The total catch
